We are pleased to share a new resource developed by the Mississauga Halton Central West Regional Cancer Program (MHCW RCP) to support the implementation of the Ontario Lung Screening Program (OLSP): a video on Smoking Cessation – Support and Resources for Quitting.
This video is designed to support both patients and care teams across the region by providing:
- Key information on the effects of smoking
- Benefits of quitting
- Practical guidance on quitting
- Regional and provincial resources available to support patients
You can view the video here on the MHCW YouTube Channel. It will also be available shortly on the MHCW RCP website under New Resources.
We encourage you to share this tool with your teams and integrate it into patient education and engagement activities wherever possible. By helping patients access smoking cessation resources, we can further strengthen the impact of OLSP and improve patient outcomes across our region.
