Primary Care Representation, Central Intake Diagnostic Imaging Implementation Working Group, Ontario Health

Ontario Health’s Digital Team in central region is looking for primary care representation for their recently launched Central Intake Diagnostic Imaging Implementation Working Group which will guide and support the planning and implementation of a coordinated access pathway for CT & MRI in our region.

Request:1-2 Primary Care representatives
Frequency:Currently meetings are 1 hour each, and every 2 weeks until October when we will scale back to monthly (subject to change): Every other Thursday from 2-3 pm. Next meeting on August 7, 2025.
Duration:At minimum, to the end of fiscal (March 31, 2026); however, we will continue implementation activities into the next fiscal.
Purpose of WG:Confirm end-to-end workflows for key processes, including:Faxed referralsData quality checksOngoing operational supportTriage criteria Clarify human vs. technology-based roles within the workflowsProgram StandardsDiscuss and confirm approach to equitable distribution of CT and MRI services and identify external data needs to support planning and monitoring.Confirm decision-making data points, including what is collected via a referral form and how it informs referral routing and prioritization.Confirm provincial KPIs and identify regional opportunities for quality improvement and performance measurement.
Membership:Current members include RADs/Technicians and DI Directors from 13 hospital organizations in central region
