These changes reflect the updated Ministry of Health’s revised Infectious Disease Protocol, Appendix 1: Adverse Events Following Immunization (AEFIs) (publication pending) and include:
- Integration of select COVID-19 Adverse Events of Special Interest (AESIs) into general AEFI categories
- Revisions to adverse event types to align with the updated national reporting form from the Public Health Agency of Canada
Health care providers should continue to report all AEFIs to TPH under the Health Protection and Promotion Act, using the updated AEFI Reporting Form and faxing the completed form to 416-696-3492 or emailing the completed form to [email protected].
